bulletRanger Nolley Fisher presented awards to Maple Syrup Volunteers
bulletWe had a photo op of the presentation (look elsewhere on the website for a photo.)
bulletWe discussed the April 21 Craft Fair
bulletWe briefly touched on the 25th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for July 15th. We will dedicate an upcoming meeting to brainstorming and discussing the program for the event.
bulletIt was mentioned that the Chesapeake Bay Foundation has a speaker’s bureau and might be a good program addition for an upcoming meeting.
bulletDiscussion was held on funding supplies and materials for the Maple Syrup program and $200 was approved.
bulletRick discussed some of the ‘happenings’ at the park including the two eagle projects recently completed, the trail marker system and bulletin boards at all the pavilions.
bulletWe were reminded that the February meeting (Wed. Feb 21) would feature the volunteers who take care of our birds and the Adopt-an-Owl program. An owl prowl (nighttime bird walk looking and listening for owls) will be held immediately after the meeting.
bulletThe meeting adjourned at about 8:30 pm
